Danone is a world leader in the food industry. Danone Research puts research at the heart of Danone’s strategy. It aims to address the specificities of the different regions in which Danone operates by fostering proximity with consumers and their market. The goal is to develop products that are suited to local habits and needs. In 2012, Danone and Agropolis Fondation signed a partnership agreement for action research and training, on the issue of diets and new innovation approaches. Within the scientific network coordinated by the Foundation, this partnership particularly concerns the MOISA and INNOVATION units, but could more broadly involve the other Labex units for research on managing the development of food quality and other local and national competences.
