"Digital plants for sustainable development" workshop - 18/06/2008
In response to the challenges of sustainable development, the Agropolis Foundation and INRIA have committed to supporting finalized research in “digital plants and ecosystems.”
The daylong workshop held on 18 June 2008 covered the first actions undertaken in the framework of the partnership. It included a film on the subject of “digital plants and ecosystems.” (video available soon) and a roundtable discussion of the main stakes and scientific challenges. The first call for proposals on the subject were launched on 10 April and closed on 4 June 2008. The Foundation received 27 projects with total requested funding of €9 million. The projects are under review and the list of selected projects will be published in mid-July.
