The Montpellier Laboratory for Theoretical and Applied Economics research unit focuses mainly on public economics, environmental economics, natural resources (water and biodiversity) and modelling of sustainable development. The main research tools are modelling, experimental methods and econometrics. Most experimental research is devoted to testing alternative policy instruments designed for managing individual and collective action.
