Calls for proposals

The 2013 Agropolis Fondation - Fondazione Cariplo Joint Call for Proposals is now open

Referred to as Ceres Initiative, this second Joint Call for Proposals (CfP) is being made within the framework of Partnership Agreement signed between Agropolis Fondation and Fondazione Cariplo.

Given that the initial collaboration between the two foundations focused on rice, the current CfP shall cover all cereals other than rice except in cases where rice is included for comparative and multi-crop studies. This Call may also consider the use of other model plants for comparative approaches provided that the project is dedicated to crops of socio-economic interest.

This Joint Call will fund collaborative research projects jointly performed by researchers from France, Italy, as well as from emerging or developing countries.

The 2012 «Agropolis Fondation - Capes» Joint Call for Proposals (CfP) is closed.

This call is launched within the framework of the Partnership Agreement between Agropolis Fondation and the Brazilian Federal Agency for Support and Evaluation of Graduate Education (CAPES) signed on 01 July 2010.

The same proposal should be submitted by the Brazilian partners to Capes through the dedicated online platform accessible at http://www.capes.gov.br/cooperacao-internacional/franca/capesagropolis by 12 noon Brazilian time for Brazilian partners.

The 2012 Agropolis Fondation "Open Science" Call for Proposals (CfP) is now closed.

This CfP "Open Science" is aimed at promoting new ways of doing research, by favoring transformative approaches and innovative partnerships.

The 2012 «Agropolis Fondation - Cariplo » Joint Call for Proposals (CfP) is closed.

Referred to as FIRST (French-Italian Rice Science and Technology) Initiative, this joint Call for Proposals (CfP) is being made within the framework of the Partnership Agreement signed between Agropolis Fondation and Fondazione Cariplo on 16 September 2011. This Joint Call is aimed at developing and supporting scientific research in the agri-food sector as well as in facilitating the emergence of excellent, innovative and potentially high-impact research on rice.

Previous Calls

Four years after its establishment in 2007, Agropolis Fondation has already been supporting 97 projects with a combined funding commitment of 14.5 million Euros.

The Agropolis Fondation - CAPES Joint Call for Proposals 2010 was launched on 07 July 2010. A total of five projects were selected for funding.

The Call for Proposal on Grand Federative Projects was launched on 03 December 2009. A total of 3 projects were selected for funding to the tune of €1M each.

The 3rd wave of Call for proposals was launched in March 2009. Of the 37 proposals received, 21 were selected for funding.

The 2nd wave of Call for proposals was launched in April 2008. Of the 68 proposals received, 24 were selected for funding.

The 1st wave of Call for proposals was launched in July 2007. Of the 59 proposals evaluated, 21 were selected for funding.
