Agropolis Fondation Junior Fellows
Agropolis Fondation Junior Fellows (PhD + 3 to 10 years experience) are scholars with noteworthy research and publication record. They are to be involved in the development and implementation of a new project on the Foundation’s thematic focus and are expected to contribute in fostering international and strategic scientific partnership.
Candidates from or having worked in developing or emerging, Southern or Mediterranean countries are encouraged to apply under this Programme.

Award package
- Internationally competitive salary including social security contributions,
travel expenses and mobility allowance
Profile of eligible candidate
- Promising and outstanding scientist (PhD + 3 to 10 years experience)
- From or having worked in developing or emerging, Southern or
Mediterranean countries
- Should not have resided or carried out his/her main activity
(work, studies, etc) in France for more than 12 months in the 3 years immediately prior to the date of submission of the proposal

Eligibility criteria
- Proposal must include the CV of the candidate.
However, Concept Note may be submitted without CV if the candidate could not be identified at the time of application. In this case, proponents will have to propose a process for the identification of candidate(s) e.g., Call for Candidates. Should this CN be selected, the selection of the candidate will be subject to evaluation of his/her CV by the foundation

- Scientific excellence of the candidate
- Quality and international visibility of proposed project
- Quality of international partnership
- Quality of the technical facilities and biological resources placed at the disposal of the project by the units concerned
- Issues being addressed and potential socio-economic impacts of the project
