Calls for proposals

Only proposals submitted by Agropolis Fondation’s network’s units are eligible, unless otherwise specified in the terms of reference of the call.

Launched once or twice a year, calls for proposals are one of the Foundation’s main tools. Their aim is to enable the community to structure itself by directly funding :

  • Research
  • Training
  • Innovation

Agropolis Fondation’s last three calls for projects are the following (see details below):

  • "Climate Change, Biodiversity, Food Systems: Agriculture-Based Solutions" (6/12/19 - 3/03/19)
  • One PLanet Fellowship programme call for applications (29/11/19 - 31/03/20)
  • CO3 device: Knowledge co-construction for ecological and solidarity transition (2/07 - 25/10/19)
  • A call for projects is being prepared on the theme "Training and Young Scientists" (provisional title), which should be announced following the Executive Board meeting of 26 May 2020.

Procedure

The launch of a call for proposals is decided by the Executive Board. The terms of reference of the call are reviewed by the Science Council and approved by the Foundation’s Executive Committee. The terms of reference present the modalities of the Call, including context, objectives, thematic coverage, submission process, eligibility and evaluation criteria, timetable, etc. The final approval of proposals for funding is made by the Executive Committee, based on the evaluation and recommendations of the Science Council.
