Abstract

To explore the potential of biodiversity offsetting schemes to mitigate the detrimental effects of mining projects in the TRIDOM, one of the keystone landscapes of the Congo Basin.
We expect to produce a model that will be allow stakeholders to explore far reaching and potentially surprising outcomes of their decisions and management strategies.

The postdoc will be based 9 months in UR B&SEF in Montpellier (6 months at the beginning of the proposed project, 3 months at the midterm) and 9 months in the study site, based in Yaoundé.
