Abstract

Monitoring vine water status at the field, vineyard or regional scale is essential as a decision-making tool for growers and winemakers since this parameter impacts wine quality. For several years, the ITAP team has developed an empirical model to extrapolate, spatialise and map the water status of the vine, which is fed by a collaborative approach.
The objective of the present project is now to develop a participatory internet platform that would involve all users (growers, winegrowers, advisors, researchers). They would be involved in the acquisition of data.
The platform would be accessible on mobile phones, tablets or any other terminal and would make it possible to geolocate the information provided at a given date. This data would be stored in a database which, when sufficiently complete, would be able to calibrate a spatial extrapolation model which could be improved by adding auxiliary information. The results of the spatial extrapolation will then be available to stakeholders. The maps are regularly updated with additional information provided by users
