Abstract

Since November 2008, the seminar has attracted scientists from various disciplines and research units. The audience has fluctuated between 20 and 60 persons with an average of 40 at monthly seminars. We organized in March 2009 a one-day workshop about models at the cellular and tissular scales. In March 2010, we jointly organized with IFR 127 Daphne a two-day workshop dedicated to "Imaging, phenotyping and modelling plant organ morphogenesis". In March 2011, we organized a two-day workshop dedicated to models at whole plant scale. About 90 persons including scientists from different european countries attended the March 2009, 2010 and 2011 workshops. The March 2009, 2010 and 2011 workshops generated new collaborations between RTRA and foreign research units (e.g. AGAP and Universities of Cambridge and Nottingham).

Perspectives

We intend to continue the seminar beyond the end of the project 0803–008 and are looking for new fundings.
