Abstract

Support for the organisation of the conference "Supporting the integration of young people into family farming in the South: issues, perspectives, action programmes for development, research and training", which aims to contribute, through the exchange of practices and experiences, to strategic thinking on supporting the integration of young people into family farming in the South.
More specifically, it aims to
(i) to gain a better understanding, in their diversity, of the conditions for the sustainable installation of young people in family farming in the context of Southern countries today;
(ii) to contribute to strategic thinking on how to support the integration of young people into family farming
(iii) to identify lines of action in terms of development support, research and training;
to initiate or strengthen networks of actors mobilised by this issue.
